We all have strengths that we don’t always have access to. The attuned and stable presence of a qualified therapist helps to loosen the grip of past traumatic experiences, allowing for increased health, vitality and wholeness in a person’s life.
Psychotherapy literally means ‘attending to the soul’, with ‘soul’ referring to the depths of one’s being. Psychotherapy is deep work and can be either short or long term. Longer-term therapy offers the opportunity to attend to the many layers of self in order to work towards healing, integration and the restoration of self.
